Ginsoy - Extreme Chinese

I visited this place on Saturday at 7:30 PM. There was a waiting queue since i didn't have any reservations so i had to wait for an hour to get the table due to rush hours. Ordered Hot and Sour White soup which was okay, i didn't like its taste. For the main course i ordered Egg Fried Rice, Classic Beef Chilli dry, Spicy Garlic chicken gravy and Chicken Chowmein. Everything was delicious and hot. I would definitely recommend Classic Beef Chilli it was very good. Food came pretty quick. Service was very good. Staff was very polite and also helped us with the menu selection and with the proper meal size. The cutlery and glasses were clean as i have seen in many restaurants they don't clean these things properly. Overall a very good pleasant experience. Anyone visiting it on the weekend should reserve the table in advance to avoid so much wait in queue. Update: Recently i visited this place again. I reserved the table 2 days in advance and they accommodated a party of 12 happily even though i could not reserve for 12 online. Arrived at time and the table was ready for us. No wait in line. Ordered Red Hot and Sour soup with extra crackers. The soup was delicious and the family size served us pretty well. Staff member Amanpreet took our order and she also recommended correct portions otherwise i would have ordered too much extra. Everything was delicious and the service was very good. Their portion size is pretty generous as compared to many other Halal Chinese restaurants.

After hearing so much about this place, finally got to try Ginsoy at the Mississauga location whilst visiting family there. Reservation is a must or you will be waiting a long time for a table. We were seated right away at our reserved time, service was fast and wonderful. We ordered hot and sour soup, crackers (which are now a 1 a basket), cashew chicken, dynamite shrimp, dynamite chicken, hot and spicy noodles, hot and spicy fried rice and chilli chicken. Food was amazing! Full of flavor, perfect blend of spices and prepared hot and fresh. Cashew chicken definitely surprised me, it was one of the best I have had. Hot and spicy are a must try. Food portions on family sizes are very generous and were more than enough for 8 adults. Loved the food, ambience and service. Totally worth it.

Came here around 4PM-5PM to have an early dinner and there were plenty of tables available. The service was good and their portion sizes are very generous. We had the Dragon Chicken, Fried Dumplings, Mixed fried Rice & Garlic Noodles (they were a bit spicy). Took plenty of leftovers home too :) I recommend

Firstly, it’s important that you make a reservation ahead of time because they get fully booked easily. We were walk-in and had to wait around 30 minutes to find seating. The food was delicious, especially the fried tempura and chicken chow mein. It was flavourful with the right amount of spices. The food was freshly prepared and did not taste like it was reheated as is the case with other Hakka type of restaurants. Our server was attentive and gave us a recommendation. It did get busy and loud but the food was worth it. The portion size is either for 1-2 people OR 3-4 people but found that the smaller size is enough for 3 people. Overall, great experience! :)

I made a reservation here, which turned out to be great on a busy evening. Staff were very friendly and professional, the place is nice and clean, even when busy. Ordering our meals didn't take too long, as well as getting our our appetizers, soup, and main course. The Chicken Manchow was really good and hot. The Chicken Fried Rice and the Kung Pao Chicken were also really good, great taste, and enough portions for a family size. Overall, the service was great, friendly staff, great food, I would highly recommend going here.

Amazing Chinese-Pakistani cuisine. My first time to Ginsoy and definitely not my last! Will highly recommend to family and friends

The best best best Chinese restaurant so far in Toronto. Not like Hakka. Went twice. 1st time when went our order selection was Lil wrong due to spice level but 2nd time the server named Sahar gave us recommendations. Alhumdulillah turned out to be so good. I took my mom and relatives and they loved the food. Letting you all know if anyone crave for Bangladeshi Chinese must go there. Hopefully they'll open their Scarborough location soon.

What an amazing experience! The fusion of Pakistani and Chinese flavors was absolutely delicious — every dish was bursting with taste and cooked to perfection. From the starters to the mains, everything was spot on. The service was equally impressive — friendly, quick, and very welcoming. Definitely one of the best places to enjoy Pakistani-Chinese cuisine. Highly recommended!
